In 2007 Andrew Hawkeswood had the ambitious goal of building his very own Audi Quattro S1 rally car. With assistance from Simon Johnstone. Replica built car with Modern Subaru running gear. Used from 2007 to 2013 and ran in the 2013 NZRC. Car then sold to Dave Thompson and moved to Australia. Car was driven by Ari Vatanen in demo runs at 2014 Rally Canberra. Car was bought by Stewart Reid and features a sequential box as of 2016.
