History:
Built by Leigh and Josh Marston of RDL Performance from an M-Sport Supplied R2 Kit in 2012.
The car would make its competition debut during the 2012 Silver Fern in the hands of father Leigh. For the 2013 season, Josh Marston would use the car in the NZRC competing against the similar car of Phil Campbell.
In 2016, the car was sold to Hayden Spatcher who would use it in selected Mainland and Clubsport events. Following a major crash in his own Fiesta R2 into a pond at the 2019 Rally Otago, the car would leased to Robbie Stokes for rounds of the 2019 NZRC.
In 2019 it was sold to Jason McConnell and used in club events around Christchurch.
In 2023, it was sold to Deane Buist and leased by Bryn Jones for the 2023 Rally Otago.
