This car was built to Group N spec for Dean Sumner to campaign in the NZRC from 2008 with Sumner securing the 2010 national championship in it.
Car then sold to Rhys Gardner at the end of 2013 for Mainland Rally use and selected events in the NZRC. Car was leased by Dylan Turner at Rally Otago 2017 which was the opening round of the National Championship as his new Audi AP4 car was to debut at the next round in Whangarei.
In late 2017 the car was sold to John Giltrap and used in Mainland events. Notably, Giltrap won the 2021 Westland Rally.
Purchased by Jonty Brenssell in 2022.
