Car was built new by Brian Stokes for the 1986 NZRC and Rally NZ where it finished 15th overall. Car was used by Ross Young in the 1987 AWA Clarion Rally NZ .Car was then sold to Stu Warren and used with success in 1992 mainland championship and in the NZRC and Rally NZ. Car was then purchased by Roger McKay 1992 who owned the car for many years competing in NZRC, Mainland and Silver Fern events including using it to win the 1996 Rally NZ scholarship. Car was brought by Brodie Anderson in 2014 and used the car in the Otago Classic and southern series events
