Car was built by Audi Sport and used as an Audi Works Factory car in the WRC in the mid 1980’s. Car was used by Stig Blomqvist to win the 1984 Acropolis Rally. Car then purchased from Audi Sport by Malcolm Stewart in 1985 and owned until 2007. Car underwent a full restoration in the 1990’s and made its debut again in 2005 at the 50th anniversary of the TeOnepu Hillclimb. Car was then purchased by Allan Wills in 2007 and has owned till current. Car used for Demo runs in 2008 at Rally Otago by Michelle Mouton. Car remains the only Group B Audi to belong in private hands.
