This car was originally built and owned by Reece Jones as a lease car and was used by Chris Lewis from the UK for Rally NZ in 2004. A NZRC campaign in 2006 would see Carl Adnit use the car in various events.
It was then used by Warwick Redfern until he purchased the ex Turner Evo 8/9. It was then purchased by Dunedin's Mike Turfus in 2017 and used locally. In 2018, the car was sold to ex-pat Aussie John Spencer based out of Dunedin and used locally also. In 2022 it was purchased by Dave Kendall.
