History:
After the initial development of the AP4 category by Force Motorpsort, the Skoda AP4 was commissioned to be built alongside the Hyundai and Mazda AP4 cars in what were the pioneering cars of the category. The car features an 1800cc Turbo engine from the same VAG Motor group, a Sadev Sequential transmission, and Skoda R5 spec cosmetic panels.
Glenn Inkster with the assistance of Spencer Winn would form a partnership to tackle a full 2016 NZRC campaign. The year would be a development one for both team and driver, but the combination showed great potential with Glenn Inkster excited by the new platform of cars. 2017 would see another part NZRC campaign for the pairing, as they looked to continue on their initial improvements from the 2016 season.
In late 2017 the car was purchased by the Quantock's based in Christchurch.
