Owned by Garry Smith the vehicle was driven on the 2006 Silver Fern Rally by Scottish rally legend and good friend of Smith's, Jimmy McRae. It was leased to various competitors to compete in various Targa events until 2016. The car was then owned be Clark Scott before being purchased by Matthew Thomson in 2018.
