History:
Regan Ross in 2013 comissioned Palmside NZ to build a new BDA escort for which Ross would use as a classic rally car throughout the South Island and New Zealand. The car was unique as it featured Mechanical Fuel Injection.
Ross quickly cemented himself as a regular 2WD front runner, and constant contender for the iconic Otago Classic Rally.
2017 would see a strong push for Ross's first Otago Classic win, with strong pace for the entire event. However Ross would narrowly miss out on the coveted first place by a mere margin of 10sec to former WRC star Markko Martin of Estonia.
