History:
The car was built in 2010 by Ben Hunt from an M-Sport Fiesta Trophy Kit for use in the NZRC and used until 2012. Car was leased to Tony Gosling for NZRC Rally Wairarapa in 2012. The car was sold then to Rosemarie North and used in Australia from 2012 till 2014.
In 2015 the car was purchased by Dylan Thomson to campaign in the 2016 New Zealand Rally Championship and subsequant seasons to great success. Thomson would step up to a new SAS run Subaru Impreza for 2019 which would see the car Leased to Chinese national Haowen Chu for the two NZ APRC rounds at Rally Otago and Rally Whangarei. Following a roll over at the Rally Whangarei pre-event shakedown, the car would undergo an extensive rebuild for the 2020 rally season.
