Car was built in the 1970's and used by Murray Crampton, featuring a 1600cc kent engine. It was converted back to a road car at some stage after being sold.
Next known history of the car is that it was purchased in late 1988 as a road car by Alan Hewlett but still with a 1600 pushrod engine with sidedrafts. The car was used by Alan Hewlett in clubsport events and also by his son son Jim Hewlett as a road car while at university.
It was then sold to Jason Boddy in 1990 who fitted the car with a 1600 BDA engine and turned it back into a rally car. Next known use of the vehicle was by Glen Daly at the 2016 Westland Rally and used currently in clubsport events.
In 2019 it was purchased by Ray Casey based in Cromwell.
