It was then purchased by the Britek Team in Australia and converted to 4WD to run in the Australian Rally Championship.
In 2009, this car along with another Fiesta S2000 was bought into New Zealand by Dave Strong. It was used in events from 2009 consistently throughout the next decade. It 2014, it was fitted with a V6 N/A Honda engine.
