History:
This car was first owned by Kayne Barrie in 2008 and used by Brendan Reeves for selected NZ rallies run by Kayne Barrie Motorsport. The car was then used by Ben Hunt in the 2009 NZRC as part of the NZ Rising Stars Scholarship. Ben Hunt would step into a new car for 2010 and this was then used by Stephan Barker in the 2010 NZRC.
The car was then sold to Josh Marston down in Christchurch who used the car throughout 2011 and 2012 rally seasons before stepping into his new Ford Fiesta R2. It was then sold to Tony Gosling of Stadium Cars who owned the car until 2014. Throughout Gosling's ownership, the car was campaigned by David Holder in the 2013 NZRC and by Louise Cook at Rally New Zealand 2012. The car was extensively damaged by Dave Holder and rebuilt.
The car was then purchased by Ben Grundy from Dunedin in 2014 who used it in selected Southern events. Chris McLean then bought the car in 2016 where it was used in a couple of mainland events before an assault on the 2017 NZRC. McLean used the during the NZRC and was also used by his co driver Sarah Brennan at Autosport Car Clubs Onepunga Rd.
Bought by Darren Galbraith in 2022.
